BigMeanBob
Oh dear....despite the drop in power, I'm finding myself increasingly tempted by a 350z again...and not really sure why... Say one locally with 4k on the clock going for about £20k and almost tempted to have a look.... Again, Oh dear... b0b
BrakeSnake
The latest model (2007 i think) is supposed to be a real belter. A friend has the 276hp Zed and took a new one out for a test drive... Loved it even more. I've driven the big'ole Zed, and if I was going to swap my .:R for anything right now, it'd be a 350... BigMeanBob
Other issue is that I'm off to arizona in a few weeks, and last time I was there I saw loads of them... Got the strange feeling its gonna make my mouth water again... b0b
BrakeSnake
My previous neighbour (god bless him, he had great taste in cars, but was a complete tit) had a pearl black one with deep dish alloys and an SC... now that was a monster... Mook
Article in this months EVO mag - new 350Z already out in Japan with 313 bhp IIRC. They rate it really highly as well, having driven it on a track in Japan. I was taken out in one at Bedford last year and they're realy flying machines. Shame about them only being a 2 seater or I'd be tempted as well.
Tonsko
Funny this - before I bought the .:R, it was a toss-up between a 350Z and the R32. Wonder if that's a common thing with R32 owners?

Decked
I love the looks of the 350Z! The only downer is the interior build/component quality. Now they have hiked the power up I would also be tempted if I was looking for a 2 seater. IIRC they do have a SC kit for the 350Z (not sure what spec though). Although i've got to say that i'm holding out for the RS3.........
Tonsko
Of course, the S3. I also thought about them As decked mentions above though it was the interior quality that tipped the balance. That and the .:R made me feel like royalty as soon as I sat in it
UKLooney
My last car... Got nothing but good things to say about it (build quality is actually pretty good), a really evolving car. Tempted to get another now that the top end has been sorted good and proper. Spent way too much on mods to get similar results. Mate had a TT conversion which turned the thing into a beast, sadly 8 months later and he needed a new engine If two seats are a big problem, then the G35 coupe is available as an import from japan. Same chassis, engine, most parts and four seats. Exclusive too Nissan threatened to bring it to europe, but alas...

The 350Z was definitely a more fun car to drive, just that I can have fun a lot more often in the R32 than I could in the Z, had to calm my driving a lot in the winter months due to its twitchy back end. Kept me on my toes though ...and the sound system was half decent too, not like the utter shite VW palm you off with

Mook
Quite clever filming, but the tw*t that was driving the car just deserves to die. "Let's see how clever we can be by driving through the centre of Prague at 123 mph". Bit of a sh*t driver as well

Tonsko
I'm off on an airfield driving skills course on monday, taking the .:R. I got it cheap, as some nissan car club have booked it but two people have dropped out. Would have been smooth tipping up in the 350Z. But... I'm in the .:R which is better. heh.
