kp090
Hi guys ive just bought a 2003 M3.. gotta say im loving it. went from an s3 to and m3 and its great! jus gotta ask about the harman kardon sound system? what do people think about it? today was listenin to a song has bit of bass and all i could hear was a rattle.. not sure if its the speakers.. coming from the rear so it seems like speakers due to the bassy song or could be like a window rattling or sumthing no sure but whatever it is i really didnt think the speakers would be this poor? Does any1 else experience this when they play like a rap or rnb song with a bit of bass? ive got the pioneer avic xibt system fitted into. before it was fitted still rattled thought after pioneer is fitted problem should get solve but it hasnt? could some1 advice me what to do? could i get the speaker changed under warranty? only got the car on saturday.. or are the speakers jus not that good? Also i have the hi-fi button but in a picture on this form some1 had a equaliser thing aswell.. are all m3 harman kardon's suppose to have this? Thanx in advance for reading this long post and answering my questions.. really appreciate it!!

sitas3
I have a rattle coming from this area also on my CSL where the plastic centre tray meets the back. Apparently silicon spray on the affected area works. Will have to give it a go although if I plant my right foot hard enough above 3k revs then the induction noise helps to remove the distraction! Adam
[ QUOTE ] Stick a tartan blanket on it. [/ QUOTE ] or a big box of tissues and a can of boiled sweets - sorts the rattle but you look like a paedo !
