Risky
I need to put the beast to work so Thule or Atera (looking at www.roofbox.co.uk). Anyone have a strong view?
TonyT
Thule kits are top notch, used them all the time on my old vectra for carrying bikes about. Still to get them for my avant but hadn't even considered anything else, gonna go straight for thule aero bars and footpack. TonyT

Chippy757
Has anyone bought them for Allroad? Do they fit well?
Risky
In the end I was feeling cheap and got http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehse...amp;prodid=2258 which work well but do whistle (howl even when you pick up speed. I have a set of Thule Aerobars for the TT and they did seem nice even if bars on a TT are a bit hopeless really.
Quattrophenia
Get Thule aerobars. I just got some and they look good (for a roof rack) and are easy to fit.

PaulAllroad
I would be a little careful with the roofbox. We needed a "long medium" box - for when I want to put a bike on the roof! We looked at the above link (roofbox.co.uk) and decided upon the Kamei Delphin 460, went to a local agent and bought it - very pleased until it we went to put it on the car. It wouldn't fit - unless you drill new mounting holes - or dont use the attachment points for the cross bars. After a little deliberation we decided to look at alternatives. They also had a Fapa Alto 480 in stock and that fitted no problem. I was just glad I had the opportunity to test there and then. Of course it may not be a problem to ignore TFM about cross bar fitting - but I didnt want to the stealers any chance if anything went wrong. paulos99
When I had to buy a roof box the other week I did a bit of research online. I can across this site Faster Online they seemed to be the cheapest for most Thule or Karrite (?) roof boxes. I wasn't sure which one I needed for my car so I gave 'em a call. They were very knowledgeable and knew what I needed straight away. It's not often I feel that I have to recommend a company but the level of service was great.
