drpellypo
.. anyone any ideas why? Life is good - wife is good - hair is looking nice - nothing to complain about really. I've just moved site, and there's hardly any work to do here compared to my last site. Maybe the change is affecting me? MrsP says I've been grumpy the last week or so, and I find myself not singing along to songs on the radio - not wanting to talk to people etc etc. Just feel a bit, off. So come on, what's wrong with me, and how do I fix it?

drpellypo
I would - but it's not just the singing along to songs on the radio that I've lost interest in
Omi
Diet and excercise... Make sure you're getting all your nutrients, then burn them off. Also do all the things that've been nagging at the back of your mind that need sorting out. - Guarantee you'll feel better afterwards. Otherwise, look up Clinical Depression on the web, tick all the symptom boxes then go see your doctor for some happy pills. Hope you feel better soon matey. Calm Chris
Book a holiday (and have something to look forward to). Steal a nurses uniform, give it to the wifey and ask for some treatment. Buy a kite and go play with the kids. Take a week of sick and recharge the weak batteries. Re-mortgage the house and spend the equity on something daft like a RS4. Find something to p1ss the boss off about, then you can be happy, knowing he isn't. Start wearing your wife's clothes to work and you will become the centre of attention. Decide to do something you've never done before and go and do it (Ab-sailing, bungy jump, parachuting, rock climbing, risque sex). Try a detox, it's spring and you should be full of life. Reflect on your family and your luck, there's always plenty less fortunate.

drpellypo
Omi - thanks for the tips. I'm certainly going to try the niggling things suggestion. I don't think I'm depressed per se, I think I'm just having a bit of a mental-head week.

Spending time withe kids should cheer you up... </font> [/ QUOTE ] I reckon Princess is dead right here - spend a bit of quality time with the little ones acting like a three year old. It really is completely refreshing. (General hint - if you don't have little ones of your own, your friends will thank you eternally for borrowing theirs for a bit - as long as you bring them back... or at least get a good price.) Soulboy
you need an adrenalin rush DRP to make you feel alive again. Go and do an adrenalin sport....get the old ticker pumping and the blood flowing. I am being serious on this one. I tend to get a bit 'flet' if I cant do something exciting every so often. CarMad
Go and buy yourself a power kite for a bit of fun. Get a Pansh they aren't much money and don't go above 3m for your first one. Great to get the heart racing with, oh and depending on the age of your kids they can have a go but not if its windy if you get a big kite. Your healthy and happy, get outside and get some sun and fresh air. I've not that busy in my current role and its killing my so I can see where you are coming from.
