wyliss
Any recommendations guys/gals?. I have some Megs NXT car wash the purple stuff and was wondering if it could be bettered ..............
steelwind101
64OZ container for the money?? Not really. Gold class is less effetive cleaner but some say the wash is nicer. Mothers Gold Class is one of my favorites at around the same price. Duragloss 901 runs at around £32 per gallon and thats good too. Most of all i think just swapping and changing is fun!! To be honest its all going to be subjective to personal tastes though. Theres nothing wrong with NXT though!! Geoff
Gaz7
Indeed, NXT is good, and good VFM. Poorboy's Super Slick and Suds is my favourite - lots of lubrication, and a really good wash. Gareth
Ska
If nothing else NXT is a dab handy at masking off your BO whilst your working up a sweat

ahaydock
Im with Geoff that it is personal. Currently I am using Chem Guys Maxi Suds II and find it great, and I also like Zymol Autowash. But when I run out I will try something else - as said swaping is good!

steelwind101
I have had the CG Extreme Wash and Wax and it smelt a bit sweet but it cleans fairly well and does leave the finish looking nice. The thing i forgot to say before was that somesome people are dissapointed with there shampoos. Most often this is b/c they use the incorrect amount of shampooo for the amount of water. Remeber that suds and the mitt take up water space. CG's are more ecomoical as you use one capful per (US) gallon as opposed to say Gold Class which is one ounce per (US) gallon. I got that "limited edition" Poorboys super slick and Wax and it does acutally leave some wax on the car!! It smells of apricots is very lubie and quite economical. I think it makes a great wash this time of year when the weather is changeable and cars are not super dirty or in the autumn when it might be to cold or unfriendly to wax etc. Geoff

niazS8
I use Swissol car bath. This is ph neutral shampoo and will help keep the gloss on the car on for longer.

[/ QUOTE ] If you like Z7 you'll love Duragloss 901, used this a couple of times now and IMHO it is slightly better than the Zaino, very similar, but gives a nicer finish and is much cheaper. drpellypo
[ QUOTE ] Fairy liquid and a tablespoonful of bicarbonate of soda [/ QUOTE ] Actually brilliant at cleaning. But will absolutely shred any elements of protection you have on the paintwork (wax etc) and after time, will also take away the top layer of clearcoat.
