Adam
So is this a massive enticement to buy the car or Audi trying to combat the cheap BMW deals? Staggered how cheap it was, as was the Audi finance guy who promptly printed it out and e-mailed to me in case it was a glitch. £17.99 per month = £216 per year for 3 years includes all services, maintenance (wear and tear parts like discs / pads / wipers / clutch) and tyres on an RS4! a set of tyres must be £900 odd, admittedly I only do 5k a year but I intend to use one set during that time is this fantastic value or an error (I've checked the contract document and it seems all correct)? Cameo
Agreed. I pay £27 a month for a 10,000 miles/year contract on my B6 S-Line (1.8 turbo). Adding the tyre was £3/month- it's a 'no-brainer' It's odd that Audi don't advertise the service- I had to ask for the figures (I only knew about it becuase have previously owning a VW). Adam
see cameo - I don't get why my RS4 is 30% cheaper than your S4. I guess it must be much more sensitive to mileage than model but if I do 6k (which I think was the minimum selectable) I will still be on an annual service program like you rather than variable. So both 3 services during the 3 year period. I guess they think consumables will be higher on 18k v 30k but still seems strangely weighted. Either way I am a happy boy! paul130TDI
After reading the posts, i thought hey with doing less than 10k per year that might be worthwile for myself. phoned the dealer, £40-£50 for a B7 2.0tdi A4 S-line. Serious difference in price, without tyres!!

Markpaq
I was quoted the same for my Avant. Seriously thinking about taking them up on it.
Adam
[ QUOTE ] Surely these packs make more ense if you are doing bigger miles? [/ QUOTE ] at the price I was quoted it makes sense if you are doing zero miles and just want an annual oil service to maintain FSH!
JamesB
I can totally understand why you're looking for a catch, it seems too good to be true. I'd sign up at 9:01 tomorrow, before they realise they've got their sums wrong. Edited to add: Err, 9:01 today

RobK
Slightly O/T but does anyone know if the FCM covers a DSG oil change? Just booked one but the dealer doesn't seem to know!
aliAUDI
depends how lnog you have set the agreement over? you mean haldex oil yeh?
Markpaq
It should do. My last A3 had the DSG oil changed as part of a regular service at 40K after I noticed it mentioned in the service book. They stamped it as "Additional work", check the book yourself and wave it at the dealer.
s1allroad
Hi All,My allroad is 18 months old / 16K miles and just had 1st service, any chance I will be considered for this maintenace scheme?
edo
So, if you go on this sort of scheme, what is to stop you cancelling just after a service?

[/ QUOTE ] Had a call from the dealer to say that this is covered by the FCM but since the car has only done 36000 miles they won't authorise it yet. So I have to book it in when the car is nearer to 40k.
MarskeBear
your car has to be under 12months old and with less than 10K miles to join. If you dont join when new they back date payments for the uncovered time.
Adam
Well I have signed up, for £216 per year for 3 years including all consumables and tyres!!! Fantastic value. First thing I will do is reach 1k and do an oil change, remove the lon life oil and stick in some proper stuff and move to a fixed 12 month interval schedule. One service every 2 years in an RS4 does not sound good to me especially when I am not paying for services!

RichardT
Well all the quotes seem to be at sea to me. I have just taken delivery of an A4 tdi 170 s-line special edition and the maintenance was £37 per month based on 15k per year. It was £31 for 10k per year. The tyres, according the kwik fit site were £900 a set so it was a no brainer really. You are buying a pack for 3 years, so you are actually buying 45k cover and the excess was 4p per mile so it is all cheap cheap cheap!! By the way, a damned fine car.....well happy! Rich.
