pile
OK got a dealer with a new 335D touring in Black with lemon leather interior with just heated seats and some luggage pack. £32500 its a 15.5% discount , i think i can live without the options but am i shooting myself having such a basic car ? I have also been offered another Black/Lemon but with xenons and phone for £34281 ? Should I
garcon magnifique
Honestly, I think the minimum it needs is xenons, sat nav and phone prep. Partly depends how quickly you'd move it on.
nicks3
Scott a 335d needs the options or you will suffer at resale..... Might look a good deal now but it won't when you try to sell it, thats probably why is has such a large discount now.
pile
Hmmm Garcon/Nick i think your both right going to ring him now and see if they have one with those 3 options .
gizze
I totally agree, I would not touch one without Nav, bluetooth and xenons. Has it got to be a 335d? What about a manual 335i?? Speak to Andy at Barons of Hindhead and say you know me, there is a black/lemon 335i m-sport manual with everything on it that you would get for £33500. nicks3
Scott, I would want more than that, as you know from my spec!

gizze
Hmm, not sure, the car I drove had active steering and I didn't even realise, mid you I had driven down in the Audi so that's probably why.

gizze
What the 335i? It gets you from A-B in comfort and quite quickly.
gizze
The steering is meant to be lighter at lower speeds and then weights up as you push on, I have to say I honestly didn't notice it.

Oli
I like it Scott, last time you posted, it was to say you wernt going to spend any money on cars and pay your mortgage, and then you were going to put a 1.8TT engine in a MKII Golf and now its a basic 335D, with no spec, and suddenly its a high spec model. Nice one, cars are so addictive
nicks3
It reminds me of my R32/335d debate. I couldn't be more pleased I kept the 335d now but it was a close call..cars are such a pain to those of us who really like them Go for what you want mate, just make sure it is also saleable after you have had your play, and hope you dont come up against a DMS 335d

Going out and buying a Targa would stuff it though The gti might still be on the cards if i dont buy a 335 soon but saying that after looking into how complicated it seems i think i would have to pay for someone to do all the work and then it really wound'nt be cheap
encee
Sc0tt; You really are are a star-man, in that where cars are concerned, you keep changing your mind on a daily basis. I really thought that I was the only one that was spaced out enough.......... Good man; keep it up !
garcon magnifique
I swear I change my mind at least as often as anyone here. It's just that some act on it more often than I tend to.
