jsheldon
Due to the arrival of our new bundle of joy, we've decided to sell the wife's TT Roadster, which just isn't practical with a new baby, despite getting a pram which fitted in the boot and trying really hard! I've put the car on Piston Heads for the timebeing having had success selling my S3 on there previously. Briefly its a 2000 X, 74k miles, 180 bhp, superb condition. £9,750. I've put a link to the ad below. Pistonheads advert
shao_khan
Funny we actually swapped to a TTr (fwd) when the first was born as it was the most practical roadster we could find Good luck with the sale, and bundle of joy
jsheldon
I think you get a deeper boot with the fwd cars due to no rear axle etc, so more space for baby stuff. Shame we are having to sell, but it's worth it.
jsheldon
Now sold through Autotrader for asking price! Just going through the usual did we sell it too cheap post morterm, but had 2 serious calls since advertising on Thursday, first viewer paid a deposit. I suppose the argument is do you price higher to be beaten down with a bid, but risk getting no calls, or price cheap and stand your ground. As it was they didn't even make a lower offer. Can't believe the number of idiots who have phoned, wanting to swap cars, or make offers over the phone. Conclusion I have come to is generally speaking if the number is witheld then they are dodgey. One guy said it was too expensive, and thats why I hadn't sold it and then hung up, I didn't get chance to say it had only been advertised for 24hrs! jsheldon
Nothing that exciting I'm afraid. We've got a 330d Cab for the summer in any event, which has been to DMS, so pushing out about 265 bhp ish, but nothing like the new 335d, but for every day and carting all things babyfied we've bought a 2 1/2 year old Shogun Pinin for £6k !! It was £17k new, has only done 34,000 miles, and still in warranty. The idea is this will do us for a couple of years and then take stock. Work pay for my fuel, so there is little incentive to get a diesel again, except for the torque!
