mpaul0055
Well with the R32 ariving very soon, and my Type R gone, not many thoughts that cross my mind arent 32 related After reading on here the Problems with the Recaros falling apart, and that the leaher quality aint all that great, i opted for the std cloth Monte Carlo trim. Whats peoples feelings on the std trim? how has yours faired? Im not too keen on how grey the interior is with the std trim, but i prefer this to quickly ageing leather. Considerd getting a subtle retim in dark cloth or alecantra insted of the current grey, has any one done this?, or had a retrim? Any comments would be cool Cheers A Very Excited Mark.... AGK512
I think they are fine .... the 'wings' are light grey but the centres are much darker to give a nice 'two tone' effect and the best bit is they are free !

Tonsko
Standard Koenigs on mine - not as comfy or 'hugging' as the cloth recaro's in my old G60, but they are still great.
mpaul0055
Is it possible to buy the Recaro Seats not as an option, just from the dealer. Having to pay almost 3k for seats on a 2 year contract hire would of been over £100 a month extra. If i buy them seperate there always selling them once the cars gone. petsy
you can from here but note that you'll lose the side airbags safety feature from the standard seats.

mpaul0055
Nice one mate, EXPENSIVE OR WHAT!!! £1500 A Seat!!! Not keen on going non OEM, but there are some OMP seats tempting me tbh. And they seem cheap now compared to the oem recaros... lol Grand Comfort - No Trim http://www.ompracing.it/detail.html?productcode=HA/708#HA708 Smart looking seats, Looking at an extra £200 for an retrim to the golfs spec + as they can be bought untrimmed they come in at £529.90. So really looking at around £750 for a pair of the seats fitted and in gold colours. Shouldnt be too hard to sell once the 32 has gone too.... What you guys recon?
