toodles
When I bought my lovely GTI it came with the factory fitted telephone prep - there seems to be a lack of cradles for new phones. Whats the best option for getting this working (or replacing it with an option that does) using an Orange m3100 phone ? option 1 - replace the telephone prep with parrot or similar bluetooth enabled device option 2 - get another phone and use this purely for the car - someone said that Orange allowed to use 2 phones on 1 line - although I can't find the link anymore Ideally I'd have it working with the MFSW but it doesn't look as if this can be done very easily Any help most welcome (woo - my first post)

Oli
I have a seperate phone for the car but I have to keep swapping the sim, which isnt ideal. There is a way to have two sim cards with one number, and you just type in a code to activate the one in the car when needed and vice versa when using your normal phone. Hope this helps
robertcorser
I suspect that you won't find any new phones that work, would need to go on ebay to find one. I have 3 old motorola's as I lost my mobile and didn't want to waste the £300 or so for the phone prep.
jaydash
I have a similar query: basically, I was thinking about speccing phone prep on a new car, have a phone that can be used, but I DON'T like the cradle concept. It's a shame VW don't use the Audi solution, which is Bluetooth etc. Anyway, my question is this: can I used the phone preparation and steering wheel button with an aftermarket solution, one that is Bluetooth and stops me having to have an ugly cradle bolted to my dash? If definitely *not*, then I might aswell forget spoeccing phone prep, as I really don't want that 1988-style bit of plastic stuck in the cabin to be frank.
