a4alan
I`ll speak to nelson a.m., but can anyone confirm the correct audi part number for my 2004 may 190 a4, the part nelson sent is 026 906 283j, but it dont look the same as the ones on vag parts..cheers
Avus_Bub
058 906 283 F The old one should be a 'C'. I believe the 'J' valve is for the 225ps engine and may cause boost spikes putting the car into limp mode. It seems 50/50 as to if it's a worthwhile mod. I know the unions are reversed on the 'J' and it will be a tight fit to get the hoses on. BUB
a4alan
Hi thanks bub, i`ve re-spoken to nelson and the 026 906 283J is the correct valve for the 225ps engine and my 190 has been re-mapped to 230ps, from the attached photo can you tell me please which hose goes on each nipple as when you look at the n75j on vag parts the 3 nipples are all at the same end....also if it`s possible could you pm your phone number and i`ll phone you to get it right....thanks so much
prel200
Hi A4Alan, Is this definately what is known as a N75 valve? How did you get on changing this valve? did you notice a difference? I had to order of these today as the nozzle broke on mine and Audi tell me that my original part (026 906 283H) has now been replaced with a J (they look identical). However what confuses me is that on VAG PARTS the model number is quoted as 034 906 283J, so whats the difference between these two J valves?
