Brisel
My boss is having starting problems on his MY99 996. The engine starts ok when it is cold, but seems to have real trouble turning over when hot. The battery is pretty new and a test of the alternator shows a voltage of 13.2 - 15.1 volts when idling & air con off etc. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Brisel
At last, a reply! He took it to a garage & ended up having a bigger battery fitted - the previous one wasn't the right size. I posted this on Pistonheads & got several replies, including "coil packs," ?? solenoid and a dud starter motor. So far, so good on the new battery. Thanks anyway, Andyuk911
