Where do you keep your Cabriolet?

Can you keep a Cab outside all year round? or should it really be put inside.

Garage is full and would take some serious Ebaying to clear....??

Avant lives outside and hasnt been affected yet... although the exhaust tips are rusting by the looks of things....

Mine stays in the garage nearly all week which seems fine but it never sits outside in the rain. This is OK but when I do get to experience the first roof leak my warranty will have expired - I reckon outside is fine.

The other key reason is insurance - my policy states must be garaged overnight

I checked insurance for parked on a driveway, 2.0T Sline Cab and its £455 fully comp etc for both of us.

Love an S4, but cant justify the outlay, besides my wife will want to use it, and she drives like a Monkey. Seriously.

Looking pretty likely that an order is getting placed this weekend, depending on discount available.

Mine lives in the garage (it is what garages are for cool.gif)

Several reasons:

1) I don't like scraping the ice off in the winter

2) The insurance is cheaper

3) Having it sat on the drive suggests to the criminally intent that the keys must be in the house....

4) When I've cleaned it - it stays that way until I want to use it

5) UV light damages paint and plastics

I would add that an electric garage door is a great investment and saves a lot of faffing about......

Although not a cab, my S4 lives in the garage every night it's at home, mainly because A: I don't like advertising to any lowlife taking a nocturnal tour that I have an expensive car & B: that's what you have a garage for! However when I did have convertibles (Boxster's) I tended to want to garage them for the same reasons plus to protect the hood from getting bird crap on it, fading from UV and frost / snow in the winter.
