Hi all,

Thinking of getting an .:R32 and just wondered about a few things:

Is there a particular colour which is worth going for?

What are the best looking alloys?

How much is the average service?

Whats the average MPG?

Top speeds you have gotten out of it..

Any other things to look out for will be most appreciated.

Thanks all. ECLIPSe.gif

Hi mate, I used to have an R32 MKIV. Was in silver but I think the light blue looks fantastic, really shows the car off well. cool.gif

Mine was on longlife services, had it for 35k and had its first service around 18k, think it cost me around £220 plus £30(ish) for a brake fluid change.

I live in the country so only got between 18 - 22mpg. crazy.gif

Having said that my new GTI is only averaging 24 - 26mpg on the same type of runs.

As for top speeds, you can get them up to around 150mph (standard car). Where the law permits of course... ROLLEY~14.GIF

Hopes this helps! Post some pics up when you get it! 169144-ok.gif

1. Standard alloys or BBS CHs IMO.

2. Deep blue pearl is the best and fastest colour!

3. Servicing... Between £200-£300 dependant on the service due and the dealer location

4. MPG 24-32 depending on driving and road. I get 28-30MPG for normal (legal) mostly motorway driving (i do very little town driving), and 18-24 for "fun" trips around A/B roads.

5. Standard R32's will do 150-160 (some are slightly better than others), modified cars can get 175+ (there's videos floating round).

The best thing you can do is read as much of this site as possible for things to look for. There are some common faults which can be found on a good inspection, but there are others (cheese sprockets) that can't!
