SamD
I have a 40" Sony Bravia that I want to wall mount. The slight wrinkle is that the best place for the TV in my house is in the corner of the room. What are the best options for wall mounting the TV and also for hiding the cables - I would rather not channel the wall unless I absolutely have to. Thanks in advance
Daz
I think the only way to mount it in the corner would be with a bracket like this And to hide the cables you could use some trunking like this in the corner.
SamD
Thanks Daz, I wondered if one of those articulated brackets was the way to go, but being as I don't need the movement once it is in place I didn't really want to pay the extra for it
craigyb
This one looks quite good http://www.avrabbit.com/product-Premier-am3-plasma-wall-mount-370.html
SamD
OK so if I buy one of these mounts, what is the best bet for fixing it to a plaster board cavity wall? Do I need to drill through into the block behind, or are there any plasterboard fixings that would do the job?
Sparky
40" is going to weight a bit. Plasterboard will not hold that, so you'll need to drill and fit some strong bolts into the brickwork.
