drahrs
Hi Guys, I have just had my car serviced today 40k miles on a 52 plate A4 Cab and they have warned me that the sleave on the Rear Rollbar is cracked $$$$. They said it is a warning and doesnt need to be replaced yet but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this and what it does. Cheers Daz "Save the Cheerleader, save the world!" TDiAvant
The rear rollbar is cheap to replace I would think less than £100. You could also look at replacing it with the rear RS4 rear rollbar, but I'm not sure it will fit the B6 A4??
drahrs
Thanks TDI, they were quoting me about £250 but they also said it was a warning which made me think the roll bar isnt cracked only the casing. I am picking the car up in the next hour so I will speak to them then. cheers
drahrs
I have just picked the car up and they said it was a warning and will make a bang noise when going over bumps. I think it may be a platic casing over the Roll bar as they said it is not the roll bar it'self?? I guess if it was the roll bar you would need it sorting ASAP rather than a warning. kite
Common problem with the B6, change the rear ARB for the RS4 one...
