RobCaroline
Just thought I'd post a quick hello. Been lurking round here absorbing your knowledge whilst looking for an .:R. Eventually found the right one in the shape of a 3dr Indigo Blue MKIV. I'll add some pics soon! No the questions begin........!! Does anyone have any experience with the blueflame exhaust for th .:R? How does it compare to the Milltek?
Dan32
Welcome. Nice colour, rare too. Get some photos up asap! In my years lurking around several forums, haven't heard anything bad said about Blueflame exhaust, even on the American forums. Slightly different sound to the Milltek (still sounds awesome) and hard to explain why, different tailpipe design which I really like, and I think slightly cheaper. Downside is they don't offer sports cats or sports manifolds for the future but IIRC the Milltek stuff matches straight up to it.

JasT
Welcome Rob/Caroline. I've also got an Indigo Blue R32, but mine's a 5-door. I had a blueflame (2nd hand) exhaust fitted a fortnight ago. It looks brill, it's the silenced version, but sounds nicely louder than the original. Mostly louder at lower speeds too, which is exactly what I wanted. I did a long run (6 hrs straight) in the R32 last week, and have to say that it is quite boomy at certain rev ranges, which the standard exhaust wasn't. Thats the only negative thing I can say. The exhaust fitter said it was nice and easy to fit, only took him half hour to swap them over. You can view my album here: http://www.tyresmoke.net/gallery/albuv09?page=1 The pics don't show the exhaust, but do show the car with the Pentagon dark smoke tints. I've got some pics of the exhaust, I'll try and add some later.

RobCaroline
Thanks for the welcome!! @ Mook.... Yeah we are 2 seperate people, until it comes to money, then we seem to magically become 1..... How does that work?! Thinking along the lines of CAI maybe carbonio or EIP. Althought the latter seem to be very hard to find and the fact that they don't do a ready colour coded Indigo Blue pipe. Definitely in need of a brake upgrade and some new tyres soon, but other than that only time will tell! Thanks JasT. Nice colour that! I'll post a pic when I figure out how........ Could be some time!!
