pitch3110
Took the plunge & managed to get a very good deal on a set of the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric's. Press reports I have read, seem very good & they are reported to be performing better than GSD's. WE WILL SEE........
maersk
How much is a good deal?
Ian_C
Any snaps of the tread pattern now they are on your car? Ian
Chav
I'll be putting kumhos on again soon. I hate these softer performance tyres - cant say I notice any more grip and they wear out too quick which is a right pita if you're doing 30K+ miles a year. </rant over >
Ian_C
How many miles has the chaviot done overall now? Ian
chasdrury
I am upto nearly 30k on my GSD3's and they have >3mm tread left all round...... I don't reckon that's too quick! Chaz
Ian_C
Blimey, that is good going. No doubt helped by quattro. Ian
JimLoskot
I think the GSD3's last well also. much longer than my pirelli
pitch3110
I paid £500.00 all in for the set. I will TRY & sort pic's . Was travelling late last night in the bad weather & they were not upset at all by the huge amount of water on the road & they seem alot quieter than the old conti's ever did. Still a bit waxy so cannot comment on grip.
