Snail
What are the differences between the standard 360, and the CS? I was listening to a standard 360 on sunday, and although nice, it wasn't any where near the audible masterpiece that was the CS.
RacingRed
[ QUOTE ] What are the differences between the standard 360, and the CS? I was listening to a standard 360 on sunday, and although nice, it wasn't any where near the audible masterpiece that was the CS. [/ QUOTE ] They started with a 360 that had a composite tub rather than alluminium. There's less insulation than the standard car and they junk all the crap you don't need, up to (and including should you so desire) the electric windows. It had sports seats with four point harness inside. The lower body has new aero parts all around. The Engine was a blueprinted version of the F360 motor and had approx 20-25bhp over standard. The suspension featured increased use of alloys for improved strength and light weight and it used the carbon ceramic breaks adapted from the Enzo behind larger 19" wheels. The total weight saving was, I believe, over 100kg. In reviews and test drives the consensus seemed to be that the improvements made the car easier to push to its limits than the standard. Finally there was the stripe. When John Barker drove it at Fiorano for Evo magazine he stated that it was a £3000+ option.
vito
I heard also only 2 seconds slower around the Ferrari test track than the Enzo they are the Job would defo still have one over 430 save 40k

vito
The 360 has the up fancy stoppers and far better noise and better seats and looks the JOB WITH the strip and and and
Mook
There was a Fezza red 360 CS at Spa last week where there was a 107dB noise limit and yes, it was feckin loud, but what a noise, especially when it changed down just before Eau Rouge and then pegged it up around Raidillon. Top car and stupidly quick

Would have to be a totally different animal from the 360 to make it a better car than a 430. In the 430 you get bucket seats and ceramics as an option anyways - and a better engine... vito
The 360 is a track car for the road if you put the seats and stoppers on the 430 yes alot better but the 360 cs would still be the better car on track . You would have to spec a 430 with the seats, stoppers ,exhaust, lots of carbon etc would rather save 40k and get a M3 for day to day . The CS is totally different from the 360 I would say closer to the 430 than the

Putting new suspension, zorst, remap and induction on an M3 dosent make it feel like a CSL... Get the point
