DHA
He looked mighty miffed when Lewis won at the weekend and didn't really congratulate him in his interview. Now he says McLaren prefer Lewis BBC Sport

RedRobin
That's very unsporting. In direct contrast to Felipe Massa who was very congratulatory of Lewis Hamilton's win. Sour grapes from Alonso - I thought he was better than that!

[/ QUOTE ] You and i both... i really liked him and supported him for th epast 3 years as i hated Schui... but after comments like that he goes down a little in my book. Was not expecting excuses of that sort to be said by somone like Alonso...

sotty
It was obvious he spat his dummy out a while ago, look at the way he's been driving lately. Sore loser.
RedRobin
I expect that Hamilton will be a gracious loser - Because one day it will happen. Again, Massa is a gracious loser.
RedRobin
McLaren are now having to release a press statement to counter Alonso's comments. I would have thought that Alonso was intelligent enough to realise that the prizes to be won in F1 go beyond nationality/patriotism. It seems crystal clear to me that McLaren's main focus is winning titles, both Driver's Championship and Constructor's Championship, and they want both drivers to contribute their max to that. Calm Chris
[ QUOTE ] I expect that Hamilton will be a gracious loser - Because one day it will happen. Again, Massa is a gracious loser. [/ QUOTE ] Hamilton has already shown humility, such as the 2nd place in Monaco. Did anyone hear him bitching about the team instruction to hold off from making it a race with Alonso The Spaniard is pi55ed that his number two (who seemed a safe bet as the team number 2 six months ago) is leading the table and showing better qualities than himself. Sour grapes of the 1st class order- he should have said nowt and let his driving prove his place as team driver No
scooby_simon
Alonso's bad result had nothing to do with him going off 4 times (I think) at turn 1 ?
Mook
No absolutely nothing. Or the fact that he pitted when he wasn't allowed to. No.

Lewis is quoted as saying he would not stay long at a team with team orders, IMO that's not being bitchy, that's someone who is eager to win.
