RussellJ
One of the arms on my glove box lid have broken. Have brought another lid from Audi but don't know how to fit it! I have removed the glove box but there seems to be two pins which slot through each of the holes on the arms to fix the lid to the box. I thought you might be able to clip the arms onto the pins but obviously on discovery this is not possible. Any ideas? Anyone know how to remove the pins? Any help would be gratefully accepted - otherwise will have to visit the stealers and take out a second mortgage (no, wait, I think it will have to be a third - I've had soooo many problems with my S3!) geezer
dude the pins do come out!! I have just replaced the lid on my A4! The only tool that worked for me was a pair of wire cutters. Once you have the cutters behind the head of the pin you will need to give the cutter a good wack making sure that you have a good grip on it all. I hope this works, Good luck
