Rustynuts
Link. Looks like they're after the Bugatti. However, we all know that 230mph to 250mph could well take all that power they think they have in reserve.
Mook
I thought the Koeniggggsssssseggggg CCXR toppled the Veyron, even though it was just a pre-production model, so couldn't claim the throne..?
330dcoupe
Does anyone else think the world of motoring has gone power bonkers? It's not five minutes since any of us have invested in a car, when the very same company plan to release a better and faster version.
Mook
That's progression though, isn't it? In theory, you buy a car, then go back for another one, because it's bigger, better, faster, or whatever... Assuming you want to go back to the same manufacturer
D1MAC
The question is, of course, whether it really is the right kind of progression. What we really need are smaller, more efficient engines that can do the same thing and added lightness whereas sometimes at the moment it seems like the only answer is bigger/faster/heavier (which has it's place but preferably on a small scale). pyro
all these supercar manufactures are showcasing how much power they can create form they're engines. but it would be good to see a complete change and see if these manufactures can produces super economical engines. [/ QUOTE ] That's happening as well. Every mainstream manufacturer has done just that over the last year. I'm encouraged that there are companies out there that are still prepared to push the performance limits too.
stooH
Did anyone else watching that video have flash backs to Star Wars and expect to see a Tie Fighter flying across the screen?
