lorcanb
I recently bought a polo gti,BUt its has a few prob's....Firstly behind the passenger seat, the carpet is soaked wet,so bad that when you put pressure on the carpet water rises through it(was not like this when i bought it) Secondly, one of the parker bulbs is gone, anyone ever change one themselves? Its says in the manual to contact your local dearler, but i could only imagine the price for them to do it...i have very little experience with working with xenon lights. any help would be great. thanks
Ritey
Welcome to TSN lorcanb Your first issue is likely to be caused by a door/window rubber not sealing properly The second issue, of changing a bulb, can be helped by looking at my post about changing them yourself here - change sidelight bulbs
Moschops
If you do decided to change the Xenon, be very carefull, apparently they hold an electrical charge like a TV set which has to be properly discharged. I was under the impression these lasted forever and a day?
Ritey
The xenon should be fine, it will be the sidelights that you can change yourself, IF YOUR CAREFUL! without any harm
