djb1980
I have a 1997 1.4 Polo 16v. I have a problem where it overheats after it has been running for a while. It warms up as normal and gets to 90 degrees then after say half hour or so driving starts to creep up. The only way of controlling it is to put on the heating. And it goes back down to 90 again. This gets quite annoying and in the summer is very warm in the car. The car drives great other than this problem but need o get it sorted asap. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave
Mouse
Checked your coolant levels? A garage fitted a dodgy pipe to my car and smoke started coming from the bonnet, even though the coolant light wasn't on. poo myself as I thought the car was on fire. Luckily it was ok, but the coolant level was half way under the min mark. It was at the min mark earlier
