dazdot
My wife dropped our Canon Ixus 30 last week, it now has hundreds of horizontal lines running through all pictures taken since this happened. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced repair service, or even if it is worth repairing? Thanks for any help.
Bounce
My Canon ixus broke a few weeks ago, we took it to a camera shop, they said canon have a fixed priced repair service, it was about £110, so it wasn't worth bothering with.
dazdot
£110, I think I may as well get a cheap new camera, perhaps one of These @ £79. Thanks Bounce.

CarMad
Yup see the other photo thread, at its going for £125 in most places. Battery life will be double that of the cheap ones and pictures in a different league.
dazdot
[ QUOTE ] get yourselves the Fujifilm Finepix F31FD Digital Camera Features 6.3 megapixels, Face Detection, 3x optical zoom, 2.5" LCD low glare screen with automatic brightness adjustment. [/ QUOTE ] I don't need anything that expensive really, all I do is take general photo's to keep on cd or on the pc, I never print them out so paying that much seems a waste really. Thanks anyway.
