Mabada
... in the UK? Anyone got any figures? Apart from my Dad's one I've never seen another. How rare are they, given that I saw 2 Maybachs in London last week, so that's twice as many as the W8s I've seen!

markgidney
I have one I got it about 5 weeks ago traded my 2.8 V6 for it I LOVE it Dark Inky Blue; sounds great, drives great, gives the boy racers in the Novas a bit of a shock !!! Totally understated no silly flared body kits, but I have only ever seen 2 others 1 saloon 1 estate I will add some phots later
slowdriver
Hey Mark How much did you pay for the W8 ? Cheers
Tarmac_Terrorist
I've only seen a couple before - one last week on the M27 in a traffic jam. Looked very understated - it was the xenons which gave it away as you don't see that many on Passats.
markgidney
[ QUOTE ] Hey Mark How much did you pay for the W8 ? Cheers [/ QUOTE ] The V6 which was a 51 plate a little tatty and had no service history plus £2300. The going rate on Autotrader seens to be about £8500/9000 so I guess it was about right and at the end of the day anything is only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it !!!
