Tarmac_Terrorist
Hmm - I bought this car Oct last year & then sold to my parents. Just developed a fault...orange engine light flickers then comes on permanently, hear a 'click' when accelerator pressed, down on power and very much unsmooth power delivery. Will have to go to the stealer tomorrow...and ideas / thoughts?
Tobes49
Got a feeling it to do with the PWM switch and the clutch for the supercharger. Something goes wrong and it brings the clutch is very sharp for the supercharger. I'll check tomorrow and let you know.
Tobes49
Just checked and there a G582 Sensor for current to supercharger clutch. Which can cause this fault. Best to scan it first
Tarmac_Terrorist
Thanks Tobes49 ...unfortunately, the dealer will not look at the car until Monday so it looks like it's off the road apart from very local journeys.
Tarmac_Terrorist
OK, he managed to get he car to another VW dealer who willingly agreed to look at the car immediately. The diagnostics show that the 4th injector is knackered and a new one is on order. Part should arrive tomorrow and work completed by Monday. Anyone know if this is a known fault or rare? Car done about 8,000 miles.
koljan
Hello. I've got the same problem with my TSI twincharger in golf MK6. When press the accel. pedal a quick whistle can be heared. I went to vw service. They told me that it is something wrong with the connections of turbine. They want to resolve this putting it into pieces than take it back together. What do you think about it.
