Apologies if this already has a thread running (couldn't see one).

Has anyone on here booked tickets for this yet? We booked up 6 of the cheapest tickets today (£25 each Ticketmaster).

For anyone who doesn't know what i'm going on about take a look at www.raceofchampions.com

I think it looks like a good day of action (and falls handily half way between now and next years Goodwood FOS etc)...

I particularly fancy watching ? who is racing for team ?, especially in mid December English weather, then again probably a sunny mid 20's the way things are going at the moment grin.gif

Sorry beerchug.gif (I would have hoped they would have had a bit more tied down by now). On a more serious note, I really like the concept and part of me would really like to watch it, TV or in Late Wembley. What I would really, really like to see is a true Race of Champions a la Superstars. Would love to see Schumacher in a WRC car on sheet porridge (© the late, great Russel Bulgin) and even more so, just how good Seb Loeb would be in all the other disciplines - Very, I would suspect.

Don't know what you mean, I'm not p***ed you know UHOH7.GIF

No I wasn't - I'd had a couple but it was a school night so nothing dramatic. Plus, I don't get drunk quite like that (honestly!).

As for the post - I went on the website and saw the date which struck me as not ideal in a stadium with only a partial roof, a narrow track and quirky British weather (especially at the moment) then went to the drivers/teams and saw more ? than names, which I thought was a bit odd.

Then Mr Stella grin.gif advised me that this might sound a bit derogatory to the OP (which wasn't the intention) so I added my views.

I actually think the race of champions is a really good idea that would be improved by having proper races across as many disciplines as possible and on more than mini tracks (the bikes would probably be an issue though) and my tip would definitely be Seb Loeb with Valentino as the other one who seems to have the most varied ability.
