Dave
I'm sure your Big Al but I keep reading your name as Bi-gal.. think my luck has come in and then realise Know a bit about turbo's but not so much on superchargers..because they are mechnically driven I think they last longer and are more durable.. I'm sure that someone with a better knowledge than me can help Dave
James_dj
generally supercharger need an overhaul after 70k or more. and are big money to replace of fix. a friend of mine has a corrado G60 and his has gone and they wanted £1700 to fix it so is havin a turbo fitted instead
richyboy
Also different types of Supercharger,(shapes of the rotors) but have to be pretty much gas tight on seals to work effectivly
Bigal
Thanks guys, although certainly haven't thought of myself as a Bi-Gal - I'll need to watch out for that alias in future! Been speaking to a Jag expert who says the engines are virtually unburstable, but if the s/charger goes its time to dig deep!
danksy
Al, Try racing green cars in Ash (Not sure if Surrey or Hampshire!) They have a long track record of modding Jags, and I have found them helpful in the past!
