Daz
I require my RS4 to be fully detailed on either the 3rd / 4th / 5th October in Dorset (near Poole). Is there anyone in the area who could assist?
Andyuk911
I don't think my jet wash could reach that far, but you are welcome to pop over
Mook
Talk to Parc Ferme (01202 862680) - Heidi is very helpful and knows what she's talking about. They're on the other side of the road to our offices on Nimrod Way. Machine polishing, Zymol etc. Their workshop is part of the Arena complex and they'll collect and drop off your car if you want. It took me a while to find a detailer in Dorset (as opposed to a valeter)! They'll be getting hold of my car in a week or so to remove some swirls and some scratches where the previous owner has tried to polish them out HTH
Daz
Nice one - let me know how you get on with them.

jediknight83
Daz... good luck if you choose parc fermé.. ive heard they can be good and bad.. downside of having multiple detailers working for them i guess. If you dont have any luck with them and can be flexible about doing it nr london instead i'd be happy to help out. Cant think of anyone else down dorset way i'd recommend though
Daz
Nathan, Can you PM me a quote and could you do the car on the 1st or 2nd of October in East London?
jediknight83
1st is free. i'll PM in a moment.. just about to make a bacon sandwhich will the car be under cover? also are you looking for full paint correction or just a clean and wax? Daz
Afraid it won't be under cover - garage isn't big enough to put the car in and work around it. Can you quote me for both.
Mook
[ QUOTE ] Daz... good luck if you choose parc fermé.. ive heard they can be good and bad.. downside of having multiple detailers working for them i guess. [/ QUOTE ] Is there any one detailer there that you could recommend I make sure works on my car? If it's being done at their base (which is over the road from my office), then I guess I could ask for one of the owners to do it, if you'd recommend them. jediknight83
I dont know names. Its just one of my customers used to use them and said one time it was good and the second time left alot to be desired. I doubt Craig or Lynn will get their hands dirty with detailing now... too busy getting them dirty with dodgy zymol legal cases
steelwind101
It seems like Zymol are making it very hardwork to even bother using their products!!
Mook
Are the legal cases about the product not doing as it should? I was asked if I was interested in having it Zymol'd, but turned them down until I knew more about it as a product.
jediknight83
the product is fine. they dont like other detailers using the product though as theyhave their own approved detailers who pay a high price to advertise the name

Mook
Not wanting to detract from Nathan detailing Daz's RS4, the verdict on Park Ferme's full machine polish on my car is that they're very good. I'm very pleased with the result. Yes, they use "contract" detailers, but they have a roster of five people. The guy who worked on my car (Darren) apparently does all of the Top Gear and Fifth Gear cars, so I guess Parc Ferme have a contract with them. Will try and get some photos done as I've now finished everything I want to do to the car before I start getting it filthy over the winter
