Tobes49
I've been going through all my old photos and would like to put them onto my computer. Can anyone recommend a good scanner? I think speed is my main point.
Sponge
Do you still have the negatives? You can buy scanners capable of scanning them one or two at a time. It may be quicker and offer better results. You can also buy machines specifically for scanning high volumes of negatives, but they're expensive and probably not worth it for home use. I started scanning my photographs, but it rapidly got tedious (time consuming) and gave up. My scanner is a few years old, but it's compact, thin and powered via the usb, i.e. no separate lead for a bulky external PSU. Tobes49
I've got some negatives, but I would say only around 25% so it must be able to do both.
