Ian_C
You might well be happy with the MkV, but as you say yourself, try a few others before you commit. It cannot be that good. Ian

RedRobin
[ QUOTE ] You can't describe it. You'll know when its love. [/ QUOTE ] ....Yeah, it sends you loopy! Or is it that you feel nothing but a calm confidence? - Or is that only when you feel your love is returned?

[/ QUOTE ] Nail on the head there RR You only feel totally confident/comfortable when the love you're giving is reciprocated!!! IMHO I like the taste of marzipan...having been engaged twice before in my 20's. But this...is something else!
RedRobin
....Well, if I don't know by now, there's absolutely no hope! If only I knew then what I know now! Also, with that confident/comfortable feeling comes the calm from knowing that you don't have to rush. I'm very happy for you, fastlad . [ QUOTE ] I like the taste of marzipan.... Does anyone have a true definition/s? er....before i rush out and buy a 5k engagement ring [/ QUOTE ] Nobody has a true definition, as much as anyone might protest otherwise. All you can truly ever do is go with what feels right at the moment (which presumably it does) and be slightly prepared for if/when it goes wrong. The longer you go without things going pear shaped then the better your call was

Just follow your heart and your instincts, be honest and communicate. Forget all previous bad experiences if there are any - Each love is different. The trickiest part of a new relationship, even when you feel you are in love, is the early stages where the other person always seems to be perfect. Just be yourself and be happy. Don't build up expectations. [/end of lecture] You can't stop thinking about her can you

IMO its a bit like having a bad meal and saying you aren't going to eat again. Who knows, you may have been sick after eating a dodgy Hotdog from a hut at the side of the road and now be turning down Lobster at Langans cause 'food doesn't agree with me' PS Is she a swimming instructor Fastlad? Hope you havent got your wires crossed when you said you would pay the fat end of a grand for 6 hours of 'breast stroking' and 'diving'? Vagabond
Spot on again RR. I can't stop thinking about her I was, until last year in a 7 year relationship with a lovely girl, yet i've only known my 'new' girlfriend 4 months and already i've recognised feelings that i never had with the ex I believe it's down to a wee thing called 'chemistry' If you don't have that, you have nothing, no matter how nice a potential partner is!! Soulboy- my girl is a good swimmer, not an instructor, unfortunately....but, she does like the breast stroke...and the doggy paddle!! RedRobin
....If she's a good swimmer she should be able to help your swimming efforts. And anyway, it'll be an excuse to have fun together. Have you floated the idea past her?
Vagabond
No, not yet Robin. Good idea though!! If i had a boat though....She'd definetly float it!!!
