sidicks
Chaps My wife's A3 needs a new cambelt - apparently they need to be changed at 5 years or 75,000 miles, whichever is sooner (her car has done less than 25k miles in 5 years!!). The Audi website quotes £350, but I wonder if anyone has any idea what Dean would charge for this? (I've already sent a text message to him, but know that he is currently very busy so I may not get a response for a while). Cheers Sidicks
Gren
Can't quote exact numbers (was a couple of years ago) but when Dean did the cambelt on my old TT along with a major service it saved me a £100+ on the dealer price. Just reading this and my wife's A3 2.0T is coming up to 5 years old......may just mention this to her and pass her Dean's number at the same time. Cockney Boy
£350.00 from Audi sounds like a bargin to me. Had my S6 done a few years ago at a tidy sum of £550.
Cupramax
Not surprising as they have to take the whole front off an S6...
MarskeBear
£350 appears to be the price for A4 too, I Just found out they say all UK cars need them at 75k due to our bad roads and stop start driving LOL. TPS has the kit at around £220 for quattro a4.
