ChrisGoulding
Has anyone got any ideas what the following problem may be? The car is a 2005 Polo 1.2 3 cylinder. The engine management light is on. Faults on Vag-Com - 16687 - cylinder 3 misfire P0303 - 35 - 10 intermittent 17805 - engine speed wheel adaptation limit reached P1397 - 35 - 10 - intermittent 01314 - engine control module 013 - check dtc memory - intermittent 00562 - sensor for oil level/temperature (g266) 27 - 10 - implausible signal - intermittent Symptoms of the engine:- 1 - losing power in all gears in all rev ranges. 2 - wont rev over 2k on a lot of occasions 3 - idling at 500rpm (nearly stalling), jumping around If the engine is turned off and on, it will sometimes reset and will drive normally for a short time, but quickly goes back to the loss of power. I am trying to do a favour for my sister in law as she is broke at the moment and cant afford a massive repair bill. I have cleared the codes, but the 1st fault keeps coming back. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Is it possible that faulty HT leads or the oil sensor have caused the problems???
Tipex
Probably a faulty coil pack, not an expensive fix.
