silentandy
Anyone watching this now? The guy just caught doing 116 in a customer's TT highlights why I'm always nervous leaving my car at a dealers for any reason!
NewNiceMrMe
Yup, what a total moron. On saying that, he was clearly gutted and apologetic. He knew he'd be banned and lose his job. That said, 116 mph in a customers car is unforgiveable. The MD of a company I worked for once rang Jaguar and asked where his car was. They said in the service department. He said he didn't think it was because he was on the A19 in a colleagues car and his Jag had just passed him like they were stood still.
Phantom
I saw this tonight and I was impressed with how 'Bedfordshire Stig' managed to catch up with the guy across those country lanes. He certainly drove that Audi like a c*ck, and deserved to get a lengthy ban.
Maxyboy
My old mk4 abt tuned golf once overtook me whilst getting serviced. The guy at the service dept still gives me a wide berth 10 years on.
Insurance Jon
It looked from his polo shirt and the way he said the company name "town beep" that it was an Audi main dealer. My b5 rs4 flew past me on the motorway whilst it was being serviced, and unsurprisingly it want firing on 2 cylinders when I got it back.
cruiser647
That service lad was only banned for 14 days. The magistrate obviously took into account the job.
garcon magnifique
There's a prestige dealership near me that once upon a time had a letter mounted and framed on the service area wall from the Chief Constable of Cheshire Police, saying the next time they clocked someone doing 175mph down the A555 in a Ferrari 550 Maranello and the service manager "couldn't remember" who it was, he'd remove their trade licence. Allegedly.
