eldavo69
Ahead of tomorrow's trackday I popped into AAS in Newcastle for some oil and this was sat outside: Sat on 335 18s at the rear, totally stripped inside and with some sort of V8 under the bonnet. I could just about see a hand-engraved signature plaque on the side of the engine ie £££
m4ttm4son
Are you sure the V8 is under the bonnet?
Tipex
Yikes, that looks a bit serious! Like the RS8 moniker, Ford actually made an XR8 for the South African market which was a 5.0 V8 Sierra, and I think they still use it in Australia on the Falcon. eldavo69
Engine was definitely in the front. The boot floor had a welded in trapezium shape where the exhausts came up through the flat floor. It was stripped and painted white inside with a cage and rudimentary digital dash. I meant to ask about it but I need to call in next week so I'll find out more if possible then.
