bulldoze
I know this is a subject that has been covered before but I dont think a proper solution was found at the time. Had my GTi for 5 days before I had to go on deployment overseas for 2 months, left the car with my gf and on my return she confessed that she kerbed the rear right alloy, aaarrggh! as all you who have the 18" know how pristine and machined they look when new, this is a major disaster! I refuse to accept it as it is, and it has deeply affected my relationship with my baby (the car!) Please someone must know someone in the dorset area that can properly fix these things? sw1
Bulldoze I have a brand new 18" Monza alloy for sale if your interested, I will sell it for £250.00. VW sent me a replacement for mine that was damaged on delivery, the scratch is so tiny though that I'm not worried about it
bulldoze
Thanks but not looking to spend that kind of money, I believe it must be possible to get the alloy fixed, its purely cosmetic damage.
RedRobin
....Expect to pay about £70-80 for 'cosmetic' damage only but ALWAYS check that there is no cracking - for safety reasons.
