grin.gif ahhhhhhhhh, are we saying the 2000 'new' Beetle only came witht the 2.0 engine and the 1.8T was added more recently? 169144-ok.gif

the 1.8T was officially available June 2001 but there were plenty of private RHD imports during 2000 but still an iffy badge smashfreakB.gif

There are a number of Beetle Turbos with this style of Turbo badge.

TBH the Beetle doesnt have badges and any badge looks a bit out of place on the rear - I think best left with the VW logo and thats it.

That is a Turbo (or V5) thought as it has the rear spoiler mounted in the glass. Its also an import as it has the sidemarkers visible which if you look at my UK car it doesnt have these:
