oil light ???

not sure if the oil light was there or not before i changed the oil? but there is no oil light come on when i turn on my ignition i have read that the highline computer does not have a oil check light but i aint sure which comp i have in my car??

is the oil light supposed to apper where the radio and cd text is in the dash display? above the trip computer display

also the other day on way home was flickin through the trip comp and i did not see a miles remaning before fueling or is this not on the car? i had a 130se passat before and it was on that

If you can't see the miles remaining you haven't got the highline computer

ah right cheers on that, but strangely I have been told it is a highline and I have been reading up and for some reason the golf and bora highline do not display the miles remanding in the tank . though I would never trust it anyway

Golf and Bora Highline are a model specification, like the S, Se, Sport, GTI and suchlike. The highline computer is an optional extra (over the midline) that is sometimes fitted (factory fitted) to order when any new car is ordered.

So you could have a Bora Highline without the highline computer, or you could have a Golf GTi with the highline computer, etc.
