JonoNZ Posted October 14, 2007 Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 Unfortunately the VW iPod kit for the RCD300/RCD500 does not seem to work with the iPhone. It kind of starts working by playing the audio from the iPhone through the EXT CD 6, but then the head unit disconnects. The kit charges the iPhone battery fine. Anyone else tried the RCD500 with the iPhone, and discovered any tricks to get it working reliably? Lucky I still have an old iPod to leave in the glove box...
