SkyNet
It has to be chipped .... Let´s hope so!
macdaddyR32
must have been chipped, even with the torqu of the fabia diesel the R wouldnt have a problem.
Vagabond
Lets not forget...they weigh as much as a empty fag packet
bazza_g
am assuming you meant kph and not mph in your post a fettled Fabia vRS is fecking quick and in such a small package a standard R32 would find it hardwork especially on a hill
Vagabond
I once put my seat leon cupra R (tweaked to 275 bhp..and very quick!! ) up against a chipped fabia on the knockhill track in scotland. I could not get past it, and he was making ground up on the straghts. Those wee fabia's may not look much but they're very surprising.
jimmyp
Funnily enough i have been in talks with Ed at APS about these little machines, they have tinkered with a few recently and have seen approx 180bhp out of them, go like stink ive heard
BrakeSnake
I've had a run in with one of these before, and low and behold, when we got to the give way at the top of the slip road, the windows went down and i seem to recall exclaiming something like " What the f£*! have you had done to that???" His smirk and reply was a chip... There is a classic case of what can be achieved by tuning one of these in an early issue of Performance Tuner, in a Diesel shootout article... As long as you can live with the blanket of night soot cloud that appears out the back after modding, it's NOT the bhp these things produce, but the Torque... Trust me, it's a staggering amount of pull generated for such a small car, and once rolling, you will find it nigh on impossible to take one of these in real world driving situations... dubzter
Had a similar incident with one, he wanted to take me on, went flying past me then slowed right down as we went through a village. Got to the thirty signs and I knew it was coming, he floored it and I was right behind him, he pulled away slightly as I was in third. Couldn't make much on him but was closing on him slowly but surely. I lifted before we got to really silly speeds. Very impressed with them and as has been said they weigh next to f all
