Original Audi iPod Adaptor The Audi iPod adaptor is for problem-free connection of your iPod to the CD Changer interface of the radio or radio navigation system. The Audi iPod adaptor fits all Generation II radios in A2, A3, Sportback, A4, A6 and TT. The Adapter gives you the ability to connect, power and charge the iPod via the Vehicle Audio System, even powering the iPod up with the Audi logo. Fitted through the Glovebox to ensure maximum security, the Adaptor is operated via the factory installed head unit in the same way as an external CD Changer. As such, the iPod adaptor cannot be used in conjunction with an external CD Changer as the iPod adaptor utilizes the same connection cables. The iPod adaptor will work in conjunction with iPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod Mini, iPod Nano, iPod Video and iPhone. The iPod is controlled using the radio's controls and this enables the following functions to be used: Direct selection and playing from up to 5 play lists (option 6: Alphabetical order play.
