wyliss
I am looking for a new gel and have come across this one, has anybody used it?. I have used the Megs End Gel but find it a bit shiny and cheap looking. Ta
steelwind101
Hello Blackfire products are a bit strange, some people really like them but the general consensus is they are nothing special. I had 2oz sample of all there products and can say that it wasnt bad. Megs Endurance HG is just about the best you can buy over the counter. It lasts a long time and toning down the shine just requires a buffing later. One of the most unique finishes, and probably the best comes from Eniszett, there tyre foam leaves the tyres with a satin type look. Coated, fresh, but nothing like a product is actually applied to them like Megs Endurance etc. Poorboys Bold n Bright has always got good reviews, i have a few bottles myself in stock as a summer dressing. A nice enough product but its water based and very soon looses it touch very quickly when it gets wet. It doesnt do very well against road grime, salt etc. either. SCG have a tyre spray, it goes on blue which was a bit worrying yesterday and took a while to dry. It certantly left a very black looking finish. Need to give it a couple of days to see how it goes. steelwind101
Hi AhayDock I dident, it doesnt seem greasy like other tyre sprays so you might be able to. I sprayed it on to a clean app. you get these really good ones by Black Magic. Foam fronts harder plastic backs £3 for 3 inc delivery. One tyre was wet (for testing) did not seem to make an issue out of it. Its raining right now, im hopefully it will last a week or longer.
