chrisk
I am rejoining the GTI fold. I had to hand back my Tornado Red GTI DSG when I left the company that leased it for me. I bought a Mazda 6 MPS which I have enjoyed it but it's going to get very expensive to run going forward. I am getting a reasonable part/ex from my local dealer and am getting a white Edn 30 with DSG. I was too lazy to hunt around for a "bargain". It should be handed to me on Monday. I am so looking forward to getting back to DSG and the nimbleness of the Golf. I am looking forward to finding out the differences between the Ed 30 and my first GTI. Because of the huge wait for built-to-order DSG cars I was happy to take one that was already in build. I doesn't have SatNav or an uprated stereo but those are not deal-breakers for me as I have a Garmin 660 and can always get the stereo upgraded aftermarket. DSG was my only "must have": I missed it hugely when I had to hand my last GTI back.

jhibbin
Quick update : Shopping around I have been offered a 5dr DSG import from Cyprus; They tell me it was built on 1st March 2008 with balance of warranty until march 2010. I will be 2nd registered keeper unlike previous import I had from Holland via motorprovider where I was the first. Anything I should be worried about here; It has leather as standard so I guess it has to be a recent build ...are Cyprus covered by 2yr EU warranty? Thanks for any advice
