can anyone help with this? Fuse problem?

Driving away from home the other morning, I noticed my windscreen wipers didn't work. I returned home, left the car and took my wife's car instead.

When I next tried the car, the battery was dead. Easy enough to jump start, but now I've done that the wipers are still dead and I've noticed that the air con and cooling system is also dead - can't get any air to blow through the car.

The rest of the electrics seem okay - windows, lights, dashboard etc. Not tried the hood yet in case it doesn't go up again!

Anyone experienced anything like this? I wondered if it was a fuse problem but can't imagine the wipers and air con are both running from the same fuse.

It's an early model Boxster, S reg for those in the UK (so I think that's 1997/8?).
