steelwind101
Hello! Couldent resist but pick up a few new bits of kit. I cant wait to try out the PB's new QD+ its acutally thicker then alot of QDs, smells sweet and looks like there Blackhole glaze (also new!). I have a feeling this going to compliment to Clearkote Nuba Wax. The Optimum shampoo smells alot like "Pear Drop" sweets and has polymers in it like the wax and the much talked about new QD. Im a big fan of Optimum and have Optiseal, there wax (polymer based so its in spray) and there polish and compound. Also 3x Poorboy's Mega-Mega Plush Micro-Fibre Towel XL (what a name). 16x27 inches with a deep pile and short nap sides for removing product and then buffing (or just QDing). All of this bought on a diversion looking for Quickshine in gallons....GRR! Has anyone tried the new PBs glazes? Geoff

steelwind101
Ok! Just had a bit of play with that lot today. The shampoo, wow! Seriously foamie and that foam lasts! infact there are still mounds about 3 inches high from where i emptied my wash buck. 1oz per gallon is what is they recommend and i will consider 2.5OZ in 3.5g bucket. Its very slick and the final looks are really good. I cant understate that, its up there with Zymol Clear and Sonus Gloss shampoo. It has more cleaning power then both of things, its hard to say how much as even though the car was dirty it was really only mess from rain and light road grime. Im tempted to save this stuff until the start of autumn! QD+, i hope to get some pics of this later on as i was very impressed. Its way more then just a QD. After turning the bottle up side down there was a thick layer of solid content about 1/8 of an inch thick. Even after shaking i couldent free it all. I took one of my new (very plush and soft) MF's and sprayed two squirts over the bonnet. It sprays out even enough, and with one wipe most of it spread in to an even visible layer of purpleness. In the time it took to turn the towel over most of it had gone leaving a few steaks, as i buffed to high luster i felt the towel grab (i presume at the product) and at second wipe there was a deep wet shine on the car. If this nuba-polymer protection holds up im going to recommend it for all solid and dark colours cars. The Jazz is looking really nice after about 6 weeks of CMW with this QD+ bringing it back to life really well. I think you can get this for about £7 on ebay with £1.25 delivery, a nice top up for those wanting to add something special to there car. I can see this going nicely on top of sealants like EGP. I have always recommend the Nattys paste wax over EGP, im sure QD+ shares the Nattys nuba/polymer formula. Geoff
bpsmith
lol, another one where you simply cannot resist! My week away in Spain has got me thinking about my next products. Sounds like the above are certainly worth their spend then. Will keep a look out when building my next list up!

You need to make sure you do buff off the slightly smeary residue. Looking at the car this evening in the setting sun i could see where the sprayer had over shot and dried some little blobs of the products on the plastic around the windows.
