The car kit I have is brand new, boxed and the indivdual elements still have the prtoective plastic sheets attached. This is not just for Sony Ericsson mobile phones - this device will work with most devices (Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Siemens etc) however a hand full of devices offer lower functionality I've included the full specification below or for more details visit: Sony Ericsson - Accessories - Overview Overview The kit comes with two main units. The display, which can be mounted at eye level, and the control unit, which can be mounted close to your hand for the safest possible user interface. The screen will display who is calling you, or you can acess your phones address book and scroll through your contacts to find the contact you wish to dial. The control unit has a simply and inutitive user interface allowing you to navigate through the functions without looking at what you are doing. The HCB-700 can be set up to automatically connect with your mobile as soon as you start your car - this can be set up for 5 different phones, so it can also work for a partner too. The HCB-700 also comes with voice activated dialling. This simply means you can make a call simply by pushing a single button. If you have the contact in your address book, say there name and it will dial them for you. If you don't have the name in your address book, but you know the number, simply say the number and again, the unit will call that number for you.
