las247
I'm wanting £400 for them with tyres. I did mention them in another thread when you were asking about wheels but as you didn't reply I just assumed you weren't interested. :ffs: :ffs: Must have missed it! teach me to drink and post!!! just spent a further £350 on tyres too. pat27
Thanks for all the replies .Whilst I agree that the 20" wheels look better I think I might head the 19" route and stick the 20" back on when I sell! I presently have the car on Michelin Pilot Sports and previously it was on Khomos and both seemed similar on noise and ride quality. crush123
I have an 04 A8 4.0 TDI on the optional 20" alloys and I've gone through more tyres than socks in the last few years. I am using 245/35/20 Pirelli PZero at around £240 a go and am getting thoroughly fed up with potholes etc causing rim damage and ruining tyres, as well as the hard ride. I have resisted until now but I am strongly considering replacing with either 19" or 18" wheels. If I go for the 19", I would probably look for 255/45/19 tyres for that extra bit of cushion. Would i be better going down to the 18" wheel, or is the 19" wheel / tyre combination likely to give me the improvement I am looking for? Can anyone advise 18" or 19" ? ; Best tyre options in terms of size & brand. Thanks for any advice / comments
Architex mA8tey
I gut the hubcentric H&R for 5 years now, never had a problem with them. The wheels fill the arch much better, and I noted even better directional stability with them (that was the only question in my mind at the time). IMHO there's little difference between decent spacers and wheels with a different ET. Damn it Sven that picture of yours is very nearly porn LOL
