Hello Guys

So the Jazz is soon to depart, its final hurrah was given this weekend and im sure the next owner will be sad when they get it swirled and dewaxed by the kind dealer!

I gave the car a polish by hand using Pink Moose (Vanilla Moose Wax and Red Moose Machine Glaze mixed 50/50 in a bottle). Then i buffed it off and threw on two coats of Nattys Red wax.

Nattys red smells so sweet, its oily and softer then the other Nattys waxes. It was a limited production wax (now being rerun) which was offering a higher end look then the normal wet look from the other Nattys waxes.

Wolfgang Tyre Care is on wheels.

Enjoy!

Polished out when i first got the G220 in GB a 3 months or so ago:

The wash technique can keep your car swirl free.

Shots taken in 2 locations, one sunny'ish and one shady so you can see the different dimensions.

Wheels protected with EGP, i had to drive to the locations for the photos hence any dust etc!

Thanks guys!

SKA, no real attachment, i was just bored this weekend and could not bare to see it limp through the week with almost no wax. LOL. Send it out with a bang!

TT it will be 1 yr old on the 1st of September and will have about 17,000MI on the clock. The only things that are not to perfect is a few parking dents and 2 weeks running i lost the passanger side tyres so i dident fork any more money out for Bridgestones and got some "Champions". Tyre gel looks better on smooth walls, but when you know are getting rid of the car whats the point in paying for a £100+ tyre.

I made the mistake of putting on Zymol Japon on the car in December or Jan. but found that Souveran Spray wax is excellent at keeping the upmarket look for around 5 mins work!

LOL - I thought I was the only person who cannot bear to send a car dirty to the dealers for resale! I traded in a Peugeot 206 GTI for my Golf over a couple of years ago now. The Peugeot was over 3 years old and covered 26000 miles. I detailed the car prior to driving it to them to pick up my new one. The car ended up inside the VW showroom for 5 days alongside brand new VW's! I think their marketing / branding guru's eventually made them put it on sale on the forcourt in the end though. Still, quite an achievement I though at the time...

Just curious, why was the Zymol treatment a mistake?

Hi Guys,

TT i the Zymol Japon treatmeant was a bit of a mistake as it doesnt protect very long and it was really wet here in the winter. I only had limited times to wash the car and wish i had put something more durable on!

I dont know where my car will end up but it sounds like your 206 was well detailed!

Dibbs, i order the Toyota Auris SR to replace the Jazz, there is a new Jazz out this yr but i thought i would get a change. http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/general-cars/111563-order-my-new-grinder.html
