Ive heard talk of 3d mode on the satnav and recently had a q7 as a courtesty car that had this option. Also the TMC worked and this doesnt seem to be working in mine. I get the option for tmc....the source is hard set to radio....but i cant enter anythin gin the station list. Ive been told that its just a case of getting the latest disk for my satnav and poping it in. Some of the prices form a dealer look scary....£200+ for the disk Ive seen a few on ebay saying 2008 ....blah blah....will work on any mmi.... How do i know if mine can be upgraded and what version to go for? Also do i need to upgrade the MMI? And if so how? Again can the be done with a disk or is it back to the dealer? Cheers. craigyb Posted November 17, 2008 Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 Your MMI should be running 3450 or 3460 as a minimum requirement for 3D mode, simply inserting a 2008 disk is not enough. The NAV disk only upgrades the NAV system and not the MMI which needs to be upgraded seperately. Press "CAR" then "VERSION" to see what you currently have.
